Heropreneurs

Heropreneurs is a volunteer-run charity providing free-of-charge bespoke mentoring and support services to ex-Armed Forces personnel establishing their own entrepreneurial businesses as they transition back to ‘Civvy Street’.

The Heropreneurs Awards were created to recognise the achievements of ex-Military in businesses, celebrating the transferable skills this community brings to the workplace; while raising the Heropreneurs profile.

Amanda Rayner Images worked closely with the Chairman to mould the structure and substance of this important new scheme, delivering all aspects of the event from creation to Judging and final production.

“I enjoyed the Awards Ceremony. It was a triumph. The quality of the citations, the categories, and the orchestration of a very complex programme were all first class. The effect was not only extremely professional but also great fun.

Most importantly of course the veteran entrepreneurs themselves were made to feel really, really special!

Congratulations on an outstanding evening”.

General Sir John McColl KCB, CBE, DSO

  • WOW! What a night - you absolutely nailed it.
  • …an amazingly professional final product and a quite brilliant launch event for the Awards.
  • We have been saying all morning how it was the best awards ceremony we’ve ever attended.

The Heropreneurs Awards hit all its targets. It became a channel through which nearly £200,000 worth of bursaries and grants were distributed to ex-Armed Forces members and it returned a small profit to the charity, enabling it to continue its work. More importantly it attracted more mentees and mentors while raising the profile of the charity and its impact.

It is now a regular event in the Military charity calendar.
